We invite fine art photographers from around the world to submit work for an upcoming exhibition celebrating the bold, the experimental, and the beautifully unconventional. This juried show is dedicated to mixed media photography—artworks that push beyond the boundaries of traditional photographic practice through the integration of alternative materials, physical manipulation, layered processes, or hybrid techniques.

We Are Seeking:
Photographic works that incorporate one or more additional media, including (but not limited to):

  • Painting, drawing, or mark-making

  • Collage or assemblage

  • Textiles or stitching

  • Transfers, encaustic, or printmaking

  • Digital–analog hybrids

  • Sculptural or dimensional photographic forms

  • Experimental surface treatments or material transformations

This Open Show will be co-curated and co-hosted by Lori Pond and Erica Martin.

(1) You must be available to present your work VIRTUALLY on Zoom on February 10, starting at 5:30PM PT. Selected artists will present their work via digital slideshow format offering an opportunity for the public to engage in discussion with the creator. The event recording will then be posted on Youtube and linked to our website.
(2) Please submit 10-20 images on a single narrative topic or visual theme (Open Show is NOT a portfolio review).
(3) File Format: JPEG format image at 72 DPI and minimum 1500 pixels on the longest size (max 2500 pixels). Must be less than 1 MB.
(4) Name your images in the sequence you wish to show them (Example: John_Smith_01.jpg, John_Smith_02.jpg). Ideally, include your name in the filename as well.
